Bedugul is a tourist area with lakes and mountains in Bali, Indonesia, located in the central part of the island near Lake Bratan between Denpasar and Singaraja. This area includes the villages of Bedugul itself, Candikuning, Pancasari, Pacung and Wanagiri. Bedugul is located in the Tabanan Regency, 48 kilometers north of Denpasar city or 20 kilometers south of Singaraja.
In this area there are three crater lakes namely Lake Bratan, Lake Buyan, and Lake Tamblingan. The main tourist attractions in Bedugul are the Ulun Danu Bratan Temple and the Bali Botanic Gardens. The Bali Botanic Gardens opened in 1959. The botanical gardens cover an area of 1,575 hectares (3,890 acres), making it one of the largest botanical gardens in Indonesia.
